Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website and the client workspace, or order video-editing work from us. By placing an order or accepting a custom offer, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Edit Insider Studio is operated by Edit Insider Media, a sole proprietorship based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, registered under UDYAM number UDYAM-UK-05-0132134. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Edit Insider Media.

You can contact us at mohit@editinsider.com.

2. Who these terms are for

The service is for people aged 18 or over and for businesses. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you’re authorised to agree to these terms for it.

If you hire us through a third-party marketplace, that platform’s terms govern that order — including payment, refunds and disputes — and these terms apply only where they don’t conflict with them.

3. Your account

The client workspace uses Google sign-in; you’re responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. We will never ask for your passwords.

Please keep your details accurate. We may suspend or close an account that is used to misuse the service or breach these terms.

4. Quotes, orders and prices

Prices on the website and in custom offers are shown in the stated currency. The price is calculated and confirmed by our system when you place an order or accept an offer. The agreed price, deliverables, number of revisions and delivery time are then fixed for that order; later changes to our prices don’t affect it.

A custom offer only becomes an order when you accept it — nothing is charged before then.

Prices don’t include taxes, duties or levies that may apply to you in your own country. Unless an order expressly includes them, you are responsible for them.

5. Payment

Orders are paid in full, in advance, using the method shown on your invoice — currently Skydo (payment link or receiving account), Payoneer or bank transfer. We never collect or store card details.

Work starts only once we have confirmed that your payment has been received. Telling us you have paid, or uploading a receipt, is not the same as confirmation.

You pay any fees charged for sending the payment, including your bank’s or payment provider’s fees and any intermediary bank fees. We pay the fees charged by our own receiving provider, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6. What you provide

You’ll provide your footage (as links with the right sharing permissions), your brief and any brand assets, references or music you want used.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, and that using it in your video won’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

If materials arrive late or incomplete, or the brief changes, the delivery date may move.

7. Delivery

Delivery times are those stated in your order or offer, counted from when we confirm your payment and have your complete requirements. They are estimates we work to, not guarantees.

Drafts and final files are delivered in your workspace, as downloads or as links. Download links are temporary for security; opening the delivery again creates a fresh one.

Please download and keep your final files. Uploaded files are deleted about 90 days after a project is completed, unless we agree otherwise (see our Privacy Policy).

8. Revisions

Each order includes the number of revisions stated in the package or offer. You request revisions in the workspace, with notes at exact timestamps.

A revision means changes within the originally agreed brief and scope. New footage, new concepts, major restructuring, additional runtime or other work outside the original brief is additional scope and may be charged separately. Additional revisions can also be purchased.

Revisions for a draft must be requested within 14 calendar days after that draft is delivered. After that, unused revisions for it expire.

9. Cancellations and refunds

  • Before editing starts: you can cancel for a full refund of the amount you paid.
  • After editing has started, but before the first draft is delivered: we’ll refund the amount you paid minus the value of the work already done, assessed fairly against the agreed scope, and we’ll explain how it was worked out.
  • Once the first draft has been delivered: payments are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
  • A delivery that arrives after the estimated date does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund, except where the law requires one.

Refunds are returned through the original payment route where possible. Orders placed through a marketplace follow that platform’s refund rules. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Ownership and licences

Your footage and materials remain yours.

Once an order is paid in full, you own the approved final video we deliver for it, subject to the third-party material described below. Until then, we keep all rights in the work.

Source or project files are included only where your package or a written agreement says so. Our own working files, templates, presets and tools remain ours.

Final videos may include third-party material such as licensed stock footage, music, sound effects, fonts or graphics. Ownership of these is never transferred to you: they remain owned by their providers, and your use of them is limited to the rights granted under the relevant licence, which may restrict how and where the video is used. Some uses may require you to obtain your own licence.

11. Showing your project publicly

Completed work may be displayed in the Edit Insider Studio portfolio and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed with the client or the client asks for it to be removed.

12. Who works on your project

Your project may be worked on by Mohit and, where needed, by other editors or collaborators. They are given access only to the projects and materials they need to do that work.

We use your materials only to deliver and support your project, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Acceptable use

Please don’t send or ask us to produce content that is unlawful, infringes anyone’s rights, or is defamatory, hateful or harmful. We may decline or stop work on such a project.

14. Our liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, views or opportunities, and we don’t guarantee any particular views, engagement, sales or platform outcome from a video.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of the country where you live.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. An order you have already placed continues under the terms that applied when you placed it.
